What’s Gnu?
A gnu is a wildebeest.
And I should have stopped there. A simple post with a question and an answer. Unfortunately I’m addicted to that most simple of all types of joke - the pun. So in addition to writing about gnus, I’m going to write about the news. Or, more specifically, my news. And not my pet wildebeest gnus that I’ve kept penned up, but rather bewilderment at my pet peeve of news I’ve kept pent up.
That is, that I haven’t really blogged in months and a lot has changed since my last original post.
Allow me to provide you, dear reader, with these brief updates:
1. I finally graduated from the University with a degree in Maths I may or may not ever use besides…
2. Feeling justified in getting a mathematical tattoo on my right bicep.
3. I purchased my first house. I’ve been in there just over a month and have yet to burn it down or destroy it in any other way. Knock on wood gently.
4. I changed blog locations and subsequently lost all my previous posts.
Side note: Some of my previous posts may appear randomly as new posts during periods of creative drought.
Side-side note: Some periods of creative drought (like the one lasting the most recent twenty-six years of my life) will still incite new posts (like the one you’re reading now).

What you can’t see, just off frame, is the wildebeest that just ran through, upheaving everyone. Go Jazz.
